NorthWestern Corp. reports rise in net income

Sioux Falls-based NorthWestern Corp. has reported an increase in consolidated net income during the second quarter. Consolidated net income totaled $11.7 million for the quarter ending Thursday compared to $6.1 million during the same period last year.
